The Parish Choir is an adult mixed choir of 25-30 members comprised of volunteers from all three parishes in our grouping. Under the direction of Béla Pater, the Parish Choir sings on Sunday mornings in rotation throughout the Carnegie, Green Tree, and Scott grouping from September through May as well as other holy days throughout the year. Repertoire is chosen from the breadth of the Catholic-Christian tradition, focusing on Gregorian chant, traditional hymnody, and motets and anthems in a variety of styles. Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings. Membership is open to singers high-school age and older, and new members are always welcome. Interested persons should contact Béla Pater at 412-857-5356 or bpater@cgscatholic.org for an informal meeting and audition.
