Music Ministry

We are blessed to have a vibrant music program in our parish. We invite you to be a part of one of our choirs, or become a cantor or instrumentalist.

The Parish Choir 
Under the direction of Dr. Béla Pater, this choir is accompanied by organ, piano, and occasional brass,  and sings various Sunday liturgies from October until June, as well as for Holy Day Masses and Sacraments.

The Schola Cantorum
This is a small hand-picked group of (mostly) music professionals who sing for special occasions throughout the year.  An audition is required to join this group.

The Contemporary Choir
An all-volunteer group, this choir uses guitars, drums, and keyboard to lead the music at the weekend Masses from September through the Feast of Corpus Christi (end of May or early June).  They are particularly interested in aquiring an additional guitar player as well as a few more men.

The Bell Choir
Training is provided for this group of ringers that range in age from teenagers to senior citizens. This choir does not have a weekly commitment, but plays occasionally throughout the year and for holidays and special occasions. 

The School Choir
With a regional school on the parish campus, we are able to add the beautiful voices of the school children to the Friday morning liturgies. Although limited to school Masses, we hope one day to add our public school children into the school choir to lead the music at an occasional weekend liturgy.
